PROFFITT BROTHERS
foundation®
‘We make things that should matter, matter.®’
The 501 (c) (3) Foundation was created in July 2018 to honor the vision and mission of Gregory Proffitt, who passed far too young on 21 May 2018. The Foundation will be entirely funded by Spartan Medical® through June 2021, with 100% of all donations going to the causes we support. The goal is to help fund the hardworking charities that get the proceeds directly to real people, locally, on the front-line. The mission is to find people that have demonstrated the propensity to do good, and to incentivize that incredible behavior with funding, to make the biggest possible impact in the most expedient and efficient manner possible. For more information, please contact Vince Proffitt at: vinceproffitt@spartanmedical.com.

Wreaths Across America
While we have Veterans Day in the fall and Memorial Day in the spring, our servicemen and women sacrifice their time and safety every single day of the year, to preserve our freedoms. And in many homes across the U.S., every day there is an empty seat for one who is serving, or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. That is why our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach lasts all year long, far beyond the single day in December when we coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies. All throughout the year, Wreaths Across America works in a number of ways to show our veterans and their families that we will not forget—we will never forget.

United States Air Force Academy Endowment Fund
We believe strongly, as many do, that our Academy is a vital national resource — one that is deserving of our emotional and financial support. The Academy’s mission is simply too important to leave to the vagaries of federal funding alone. As a result, the USAFA Endowment will work actively to identify and to cultivate key relationships with current and potential Academy donors to support the Superintendent’s strategic priorities. We also believe that a foundation, singularly charged with the abiding stewardship of donated funds and constituted in such a way as to ensure the permanency and efficacy of the gift, is the most effective structure for providing this support to the Academy.

For 3 Sisters
For 3 Sisters was started in 2011 by retired Montgomery County, Maryland career firefighter, Marshall Moneymaker, and his wife, Shannon Moneymaker after Marshall lost three older sisters to breast cancer. Overwhelmed with grief, Marshall started sharing his story and expressed an interest in doing more for the breast cancer community. In support and gratitude of Marshall’s awareness and outreach efforts, Marshall’s fire department shift mates surprised Marshall with pink firefighter gear. Friends and local media named him “The Pink Fireman”, and in honor and memory of his three sisters, For 3 Sisters was born.
