Spartan Medical is looking to hire enthusiastic and driven independent (1099) strategic partners currently working with DoD or VA physicians, or with physicians who have privileges in VA Medical Centers. Partners will become key players in promoting and supporting the utilization of allografts, biologics, advanced wound care solutions, regenerative medicine technologies (e.g., platelet rich plasma) and single-use, sterile instruments, implants, and medical devices on our national contracts. Spartan is hiring nationwide, with an immediate focus in Tampa, Miami, West Palm Beach, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Gainesville, Atlanta, Omaha, Las Vegas, Boston, and Salt Lake City.

Partners will become key players in promoting and supporting the utilization of allografts, biologics, advanced wound care solutions, regenerative medicine technologies (e.g., platelet rich plasma) and single-use, sterile instruments, implants, and medical devices on our national contracts. Spartan is hiring 1099s nationwide, with an immediate focus in the following areas:
- Florida: Tampa, Miami, West Palm Beach, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Gainesville
- Georgia: Atlanta, Columbus
- Idaho: Boise
- Montana: Fort Harrison
- Nebraska/Iowa: Omaha (NE), Des Moines (IA), Iowa City (IA)
- Nevada: Las Vegas, Reno
- New England Area: West Haven (CT), Providence (RI), Boston (MA), Togus (ME)
- Puerto Rico: San Juan
- South Carolina: Charleston, Columbia
- Utah: Salt Lake City
- West Virginia: Clarksburg, Huntington, Beckley

Expectations of an independent strategic partner representing Spartan Medical in the Federal Government include the following:
- Meeting with providers and medical staff at VA and DoD facilities as often as possible (ideally weekly).
- Building and maintaining solid working relationships with both new and existing customers in the FederalGovernment.
- Answering product/technology-related customer questions while understanding the competitive market landscape.
- Highlight the “value-added” services offered by Spartan Medical’s Client Advocacy Team to include conducting market research on requested products, identifying like-for-like product equivalents, offering educational events, assisting with contract usage/compliance, and helping streamline ordering through a single source with firm, fixed pricing.
- Advocating for Spartan Medical as a “top priority vendor” in the VA as a verified, VIP-Listed Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
- Effectively demonstrate Spartan Medical’s “market research tool” to VA/DoD stakeholders to meet requirements for the appropriate acquisition regulations.
- Educate facilities on the available solutions on contract using the website, collateral, and Continuing Education (CE) events (some virtual and in-person education events have assigned CE units).
General Requirements to be Effective at Servicing Federal Government Accounts:
- Proven sales experience
- In person presence at medical facilities in your local area
- The ability to be self-motivated and work independently
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to become a valued resource and product portfolio consultant for providers and medical staff at Fed Gov accounts
