Eric Jania

As Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Eric is responsible for all revenue at Spartan Medical® and reports directly to the President and Founder. Revenue-generating divisions include:

• Core Medical Business (devices, biologics, woundcare, bracing, etc.) at VA Medical Centers and DoD Medical Facilities,
• Medical Staff Deployments and Laboratory Services for local, state & federal agencies, and institutions of higher education (IHEs), K-12, etc.
• Consulting and Operations Management for ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), start-up companies, etc.

Eric has twenty-five years of experience in product commercialization, business development, key opinion leader (KOL) development, basic science/clinical study design, reimbursement support, marketing, product development and sales channel creation in the medical device space with a specific focus on regenerative medicine. In addition to holding a senior management position at Electro Biology Incorporated (EBI) and a director position at the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF) early in his career, Eric has also held positions as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a durable medical equipment (DME) company, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Marketing and New Business Development for a biologic spine company, founded a marketing consulting firm, and is a strategic advisor for three biologic medical device companies. In addition, Eric is the acting Treasure of the Patellofemoral Foundation, a not-for-profit 501I(3) organization that supports education and research for the medical community on patellofemoral disease. He has been a Board member of the Foundation since 2004.

Given his experience in researching and evaluating the efficacy of emerging medical technologies, Eric took the lead when the pandemic hit for Spartan Medical® and built an award-winning comprehensive, turnkey COVID-19 mitigation program that helped Spartan’s customers suppress outbreaks and keep their organizations operating, establishing Spartan Medical® as a proven leader in the COVID-19 pandemic response business sector.
