On October 20th, The Washington Business Journal (WBJ) announced that Spartan Medical Inc. had ranked 10th on their list of the Fastest Growing Companies in the greater Washington D.C. region. WBJ, the capital region’s go-to source for business news, compiled their list based on a survey of 2,300 companies in the region. In a departure from years past, 2022’s list comprised 50 businesses rather than the usual 75, making the contest even more difficult.
Requirements for placing on the list specified that companies be privately held, independent, locally headquartered, and experience revenue growth for two years in a row, with a $2 million minimum in 2019 and $10 million in 2021. Given the context of a period of supply chain woes, labor shortages, and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s list is even more impressive and we share our congratulations with everyone who placed.
