Susan Berlin

Susan Berlin leads Spartan Medical’s human resource management and employee professional development. Her primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry labor and safety laws and policies. In addition, Susan oversees employee benefits administration with direct reporting to senior management.

Susan came to Spartan Medical with thirteen years of travel management experience with American Express Travel Related Services and fifteen years of experience with Montgomery County Department of Health, School Health Services. Utilizing her extensive experience, Susan works closely with Spartan’s legal counsel to lead her department with the latest advancements in proactive HR management.

Prior to joining Spartan Medical, Susan served as paralegal to General Counsel, Donny Knepper. She continues to assist Mr. Knepper in his role, additionally working with more than 200 plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit against the Islamic Republic of Iran for its role in the 1983 terrorist bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 American service members.
